Literacy event for K-12 students designed to foster creativity, confidence, and a love of storytelling. In collaboration with Miami Dade County Public Schools (Joe Hall Elementary), the event fostered a supportive space where imagination thrived! 

For the first portion of this event, I taught the basics of Creative Writing to students, including elements of fiction and poetry. Subsequently, they had time to write their own pieces, which were then read by the students at an open mic in front of their peers. 

Programs like this are vital for offering students creative outlets that enhance critical thinking and  emotional development.
